MELD LAMP

A sculpted mass of concrete crowns the piece—its surface raw, textured, and elemental. This upper form, solid and grounding, feels like a fragment of urban architecture repurposed, as though lifted from a building mid-construction and given a new purpose.

Beneath it, a translucent body of resin reveals a quiet chaos: embedded within are scattered pieces of ocean plastic, suspended like relics in amber.Threading through the entire form is a sleek metal pipe, acting as a spine—binding the materials together in a shared tension. This project was a Collaboration between Rebecca Magyar & Agnes Åkervik.
